Recently revived Spanish car brand Hispano Suiza will attend the 2019 International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland with a new supercar called the Maguari HS1 GTC. The name of the vehicle references a stork species found in the USA.
The car will ship with an improved Lamborghini Huracan 5.2L V10 engine and an all-carbon body structure.
The donor engine sports an add-on comprising two turbochargers plus two electric superchargers. Armed with a booster pack like this, it produces an impressive 1,085 horsepower (809 kilowatts) along with 1,050 Newton-meters (774 pound-feet) of torque. The engine connects to a seven-speed DCT transmission and enables the car to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in a matter of 2.8 seconds.
Even though the Hispano Suiza Maguari HS1 GTC is still technically under development, the manufacturer promises to begin shipping before the end of the year. The production quantity will be limited to 300 cars priced at €2,200,000 each.
